Ceramic Systems Inc was founded by Oliver H. Burkhart. After Oliver started Burkhart Refractory Installation Incorporated in 1984, he saw a growing need and trend toward
ceramic fiber products due to their flexibility in a variety of applications and in 1997 CSI
was born. CSI like BRII, was founded on basic principles; hard work, quality, commitment,
and customer service.

Now 17 years later, the same excellence continues. CSI is a second generation family
owned company. We started with the installation of a continuous folding module manufacturing machine and have grown to encompass a large inventory of materials including but not limited to ceramic fiber modules, blankets, ropes, hardware, boards, gaskets, tapes, etc... You will find in many cases CSI often carries more inventory than manufacturers direct. This means limited lead time to our customers and ultimately savings by eliminating down time.
